Ashnikko brings her ‘smoochies’ to Tilburg

When the overhead lights went off, the voice of Carrie Bradshaw ran through the speakers, giving us the perfect introduction to what was coming. The excitement from the fans felt very tangible in the air.

Amelia Moore entered the stage and the crowd’s cheering was so loud. Moore was the perfect opener for this tour, since it was very clear there was a shared fan base between these two artists. As Moore sang her song ‘naked’, she made sure to show off her sensuality while moving flirtatiously with the mic stand. At the end of this particular song, the song mashed up with a cover of Ariana Grande’s ‘7 Rings’ chorus.

When Moore took a moment to talk with the crowd, she mentioned her surprise when she walked down the streets of Tilburg. As it is carnival season in Brabant, there were quite some people going out and walking the streets of Tilburg in their costumes.

After sharing an emotional moment playing at the piano, more shouted into the crowd: “You are too pretty to be crying over that ugly man!” If you took away anything from this show, be sure it was that one line.  Even though she shared the statement with confidence, Moore said she had been right there with them. She had been crying at work over it too. A perfect example was right there in the title ‘Crybaby’. She performed the song a little bit different from its original recording. Moore had shared on her socials that she had been seeing a vocal coach. Those sessions had been paying off as she sang, the craziest riff, and then another riff. And another. And another. She came very well prepared for these live shows and it was clear she wanted to make herself known. The crowd went wild for her voice as she kept showing off again and again. She made sure everyone would remember her name as they would go through the exit doors later this night. Between every other song, she reminded us: “It’s Amelia Moore!”

She went on to treat us with a song from her debut album, which she is planning on releasing later this year. This song is called ‘The City of Angels’ and is about her life in Los Angeles. It seemed like she had succeeded in her job to warm up the crowd, as the crowd clapped along to her final song ‘Spelling Bee’.

Ashnikko made an entrance in pure Ashnikko style. She arrived a few minutes late on stage. This was after we got to hear her voice over the speakers, as she was mumbling and checking if she got all the stuff she needed with her. As she was searching in her purse for her lipgloss, she found a tiny door at the bottom of her purse. Through this tiny door, she appeared on stage and opened her show with ‘Sticky Fingers’.

When taking a moment to talk to the audience, she mentioned how she was still horny, entering this new decade of her life. As she is entering her 30s. Because she was sick, her voice sounded a little raspy. Which would be getting worse as the show progressed. She was wearing a headset instead of using a regular microphone. She apologized for it, because this way everyone could hear her sniffle throughout the whole evening. However, it made her feel cunt and that’s what mattered in the end.

She asked the fans if they brought any trinkets and if they had already traded them. Next, she asked if they wanted to give her any trinkets, which they did of course. She told them to wait for a second so she could hide somewhere safe on stage. When she gave the signal that she was safe, the fans started throwing all of the trinkets towards the stage. There were so many trinkets, the whole stage floor was covered in trinkets. Ashnikko rose from her safe spot and made her way through the trinkets while describing them. There were many pickle keychains. She said she’d have to use them to make a skirt once this tour would be over. She asked her crows, a.k.a. her dancers, to collect all the trinkets.

As she’s getting older, she is also feeling smarter and sexier. All she wants for her birthday now is trinkets and oral sex. As her crows bring out her trinket trunk, she started performing ‘Trinkets’. Ashnikko left the audience with another message. This one sounding that you don’t have to be one thing. You can be a real sweetheart, and an absolute fucking cunt. All of these things can exist at the same time.

After her last break up, all of the digestive problems she had experienced just seems to disappear. Her skin had also magically cleared all of a sudden. Which is how we were gifted with the performance of ‘Skin Cleared’. When she announced it was time to sing some of her old songs, the crowd went wild. These songs included, ‘Toxic’, ‘You Make Me Sick’ and ‘STUPID’.

When this very high energy section of the show came to an end, Ashnikko wanted the fans to imagine they were in a poetry café. No loud cheering or clapping, only snaps with their fingers. It is supposed to feel smaller and intimate. She starts her spoken word poetry with the line ‘Fat pussy like santa’, which ofcourse, resulted in some very loud cheering from the fans. Ashnikko reminded everyone to only use snaps before continuing her poem.  It is quite surprising to hear that snaps can still be loud, if everyone in the venue is doing them.

After giving a shout out to her dancers, Dewi Dihal and Molly Hincks, Ashnikko disappeared behind the decor for a few seconds. When she reappeared with both of her loyal dancers, they were carrying large melee weapons and she got rid of the shirt she was wearing before. She talked about wanting to unzip out of her human skin and she played a series of her ‘Halloweenie’ songs.

Ashnikko made her own little tradition with her fans, which was to always crown a fan as the ‘Smoochie Girl’. This night she was a girl with pink hair and ribbons, She was brought on stage and told Ashnikko how she was a fashion student and had made this gorgeous outfit all by herself. The dancers brought out a crown as the crowning ceremony started. She keeled before Ashnikoo as she was crowned the Smoochie Girl of Tilburg. As the show was reaching the end, Ashnikko performed a very horny dance with her dancers on ‘Slumber Party’.

The stage went dark for a few second, which gave Ashnikko just enough time to dress up for her final song ‘Daisy’. The crowd went crazy and put all the adrenaline of the night in this moment. As everyone was jumping up and down, it seemed this show was a huge success. After thanking everyone for coming this night, Ashnikko crawled back through her tiny door and left the fans with all the feeling after experiencing such extravaganza.
