Live Review: NOAHFINNCE in Glasgow

As soon as NOAHFINNCE took the stage at Glasgow’s Cathouse Rock Bar, the atmosphere immediately became electric. The youthful singer-songwriter, who is also a widely respected Trans content creator, alongside his band, had been generating excitement through their chaotic live performances, and the sold-out crowd was eager to witness it first-hand. During the chilly evening of October 22nd, NOAHFINNCE put on a performance that unequivocally established him as a promising artist deserving of attention.

From the first notes of the opening song, ‘GROWING UP ON THE INTERNET’, NOAHFINNCE and his band were firing on all cylinders. Their genre-bending blend of indie, pop, and rock was delivered with the kind of passion and conviction that can only come from an artist who truly believes in their work. NOAHFINNCE’s vocal range was impressive and emotive throughout the show, particularly on standout tracks like ‘MIND BLANK NO THOUGHTS’ and â€˜I KNOW BETTER’.

During the main set, NOAHFINNCE played a mix of fan favourites and new tracks from his latest album. The crowd went wild when he launched into a high-energy performance of his hit track ‘LIFE’S A BIT’, delivered with an intensity that was pure NOAHFINNCE. Another highlight was ‘Underachiever’, an introspective track that showcased the band’s sensitive side. Overall, the flow of the setlist was excellent, with a good balance of upbeat tunes and more contemplative moments.

NOAHFINNCE clearly has a close relationship with his fans, and it showed in the way they responded to him. The audience was singing along to every word of the chorus on ‘WORMS’, and later in the show, Noah surprised everyone by asking the audience which song they’d want to hear again, resulting in the crowd picking ‘LIFE’S A BIT’, proving this track to be a fan favourite from Noah’s discography.

Even though Noah was the centrepiece of the show, he made sure to give his bandmates plenty of moments to shine. Throughout the evening, he moved around the stage with a magnetic energy, encouraging the crowd to get involved and interacting with his bandmates in a way that felt spontaneous and genuine. The lighting and visuals were top-notch as well, often adding an extra layer of emotion to the songs.

As the show began to wind down with the anthemic ‘STUPID’ it was clear that NOAHFINNCE had left everything on the stage. The crowd roared for an encore, and the band returned to perform a heart-breaking version of ‘Asthma Attack’ that left many in the audience wiping away tears. Overall, this was a truly exceptional concert experience that left no doubt that NOAHFINNCE is one of the most exciting young artists in the game today.

If you get the chance, don’t hesitate to see NOAHFINNCE live. This show was an absolute triumph, and one that will stay with me for a long time. Keep an eye out for his future concerts and releases, because this is an artist who is on the rise.
