All About: Down The Rabbit Hole 2026

As it won the award for Best New Festival, Down The Rabbit Hole has been a success since the time it first appeared in 2014. As there were a lot of bands touring Europe in June, there were not a lot of stages to go to at first. Down The Rabbit Hole was born from the desire to give these bands a stage and to fill the gap in their touring schedules.

The name of the festival is a direct reference to the story of Alice in Wonderland. As Alice’ s adventures begin when she descends down the rabbit hole and a whole new world unravels, the world building from this festival is essential to its design. As it takes place in De Groene Heuvels in Beuningen, there is enough space to create cozy little corners where the festival goers can follow a variety of different workshops and indulge in worldly fresh food from all the different foodstands.

The three-day festival is known for its diverse line-ups, from alternative pop, to rock, indie, hiphop and electronic music. This year’s headliners are Little Sims on Friday, The XX on Saturday and Florence + The Machine on Sunday. There will also be some well-known Dutch acts, such as Son Mieux, Naaz and Ijsland. DTRH offers the stage to a lot of up and coming international acts like CMAT, Florence Road, Jacond Alon and Charlotte Cardin.

The festival can accommodate 50.000 visitors and as of today, those 50.000 tickets have not been sold out yet. Tickets to this years edition can be found here. Whereas last year, the same amount of tickets were sold out in February. The tickets are a little more expensive than last year, but that is to be expected with all the rising costs. There are more festivals which haven’t been sold out yet this year (ex. Lowlands) when they were sold out quickly on previous editions.

Down The Rabbit Hole promises to be the perfect escape from everyday life. With music, food and a good mood, you can expect to have a wonderfully entertaining weekend. Check out all the information on their website!
