All About: Pinkpop 2026

While Dutch festival Pinkpop usually takes place during the weekend of Pentecost, this is not the case this year. Instead, the festival terrain opens its doors to thousands of visitors on June 19th, with the festival lasting a total of three days. The festival takes place at Megaland in Landgraaf with several stages set up across the terrain to accommodate quite a lot of artists.

The first edition of Pinkpop took place back in 1970. Back then, the festival only lasted one day, Pentecost Monday, with a second day added in 1994. Only two years later, in 1996, a third day was added to the festival that was gaining more traction each year. While most editions so far have taken place during Pentecost, this won’t be the case during this decade, meaning that the festival will take place from Friday to Sunday rather than from Saturday to Monday. Pinkpop is the longest-running pop festival in history, and it’s not surprising that many people look forward to this event every year.

For this edition, the festival’s headliners will be Twenty One Pilots on Friday, The Cure on Saturday, and Foo Fighters on Sunday. While deemed a pop festival, it must be noted that all three of these bands fit in the rock genre. Other notable rock and alternative acts on the line-up include The Pretty Reckless, Sleep Theory, Yungblud, and Electric Callboy. For those more interested in actual pop, there are enough other acts to be found: Swedish singer Zara Larsson, British singer JADE, and American singer Teddy Swims. The festival also features a bunch of popular Dutch acts, such as duo Suzan & Freek and Bente. There are enough different artists and bands to be found on the line-up for every single visitor to fill their own schedule with. The full line-up and timetable can be found here

Tickets are still available for Pinkpop. Fans can buy tickets for the entire weekend here, starting from €305 for general admission. These weekend tickets include access to the campsite for the entire weekend. Day tickets are also available for €155. There are also options to upgrade to the terrace or the Wilhelmina Sky Deck. The latter includes all-inclusive food and drinks.
