All About: Reload Festival

From August 15th until August 17th, Reload Festival will take place in Sulingen, Germany.  The first Reload took place in 2006, and with a few missed years, it’s now time for the 16th edition in 2024. Each year, the festival lineup features bands for everyone to enjoy, and this year the headliners are Korn and Amon Amarth.

With around 12,000 fans coming to the festival grounds, it’s still a relatively small festival, which means there’s only one main stage and minimal scheduling conflicts. There’s no need to stress about choosing between your favourite bands.

The festival offers something to enjoy for people from all generations, with newer bands like Spiritbox, thrown., and Future Palace, as well as bands that have been around for over 30 years, such as Hatebreed, Paradise Lost, and Behemoth.

For some, camping at a festival is part of the fun, while for others, it can be a nightmare. If you’re part of the latter group and don’t want to miss out on your precious sleep, the festival has introduced two silent camping areas this year. All you have to do is ask about the silent camping area upon your arrival, and there will be no loud music keeping you up all night.

There are still tickets available, so if you’re free from August 15th-17th, it is definitely worth checking out. A Combi Ticket for all three days costs €179, which includes entry to the camping grounds. Can’t make it to all of the days? No worries, because separate day tickets are also available. Thursday costs €89, while Friday and Saturday each cost €119.
