From September 7th to September 8th 2024, Superbloom Festival will transform the Bavarian metropolis of Munich into a late summer music oasis. Once again, the music spectacle will feature several national and international artists. The festival not only provides unique experiences for all music fans, but also rounds off the diverse programme with live podcasts, readings, talks, workshops, and performances. There’s something for everyone, and thus the festival becomes a retreat for all culture lovers, offering creative energy, vibrant sounds, and inspiring conversations.
Superbloom debuted in 2022 and started off with 50,000 visitors per day. The second edition of the festival was also a great success. This year, the music event is set to enter its third edition, and the line-up looks very promising. In addition to international headliners like Calvin Harris, Sam Smith, One Republic, The Chainsmokers, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Burna Boy, there is also room on the festival stage for national stars including Cro, Shirin David, and Cloudy June, as well as promising rising stars like Only The Poets and Victoria Canal. One thing is already certain: the line-up is as colourful and diverse as the festival site itself, offering unique moments for all fans of dance anthems, Afrobeats, strong German rap, and soulful indie pop and rock sounds.
Eight different venues will transform the Olympia Park into a creative and musical hotspot for this year’s festival summer. Therefore, some minimal scheduling conflicts should be expected. Nevertheless, with the right timing and planning, everyone can enjoy a diverse, fun and stress-free experience.
Even though it is part of the classic festival experience, it is not possible to stay overnight on the festival site itself. However, there are various accommodation options in and around Munich. But be careful! It pays to be quick, as many accommodations are already fully booked. Spectators have the choice between the regular, comfort, or premium tariff, which, compared to the basic version, offers fast lane access and entry to exclusive areas as well as numerous other benefits.
