When Munich’s Olympic Park transforms into a colourful world of live music, vibrant art, spectacular performances and inspiring new ideas, you know the SUPERBLOOM Festival is back once again. International headliners on stage are joined by interactive experience areas, unexpected programme highlights and social initiatives beyond the concerts. Bringing together pop culture, creativity and community, SUPERBLOOM has become one of Germany’s most diverse festivals.
From August 29th to September 4th 2026, the event returns for its fifth edition, celebrating its first small milestone. As the dates suggest, this time it is more than just a weekend of music and celebration. This year’s edition will transform the Bavarian capital into a vibrant hub of German music culture for an entire week, taking the festival experience to a whole new level.
Care to elaborate? For a while, the future of the festival was up in the air. The reason? At this point, Munich’s Olympic Stadium is hardly recognizable and looks more like a construction site than the center of the festival. As a result, the two main stages, which were conveniently located right next to each other and had become firm favourites among the audience, are no longer attainable. No wonder, that the rumour mill was in full swing before this year’s edition was announced. However, the organisers saw these circumstances as an opportunity to completely rethink and revolutionise the festival concept. The solution? Instead of a traditional two-day party we are getting an entire festival week. Essentially, an XXL edition of SUPERBLOOM.
The event sets off with a varied and extensive festival weekend featuring several stages, a wide range of artists and a diverse supporting programme. The so-called “Experience Days” offer everything we love about the festival. However, the concerts that take place during the week are what really set this year’s edition apart. With full-length concert sets, each night features a different main artist. Together, these elements create an exciting overall concept that combines the typical festival experience with the unique qualities of individual concerts. As the Olympic Stadium is no longer available as the main venue, the entire festival site has also been restructured.
SUPERBLOOM has firmly established itself within the German music scene and has become a cultural highlight of late summer. This is also reflected in this year’s line-up, which, in typical SUPERBLOOM fashion, brings national and international acts from a wide range of genres to Munich and offers something for every musical taste.
Alongside international stars such as Zara Larsson, Kygo, Lewis Capaldi, Lorde, Sombr and Tom Odell, we can also look forward to major German names including Ayliva, Nico Santos, Zartmann, SDP and Ritter Lean, as well as one of Germany’s biggest exports in electronic music, Paul Kalkbrenner. Of course, new and emerging artists will also bring fresh sounds to the Olympic Park, offering musical inspiration to everyone keen to discover something new.
One musical highlight follows another, while a colourful programme of comedy shows, podcasts and experience areas such as “Your Planet” also guarantees plenty of variety and entertainment, as well as fresh perspectives on topics including fashion, sport, science, art and family.
As always, camping is not an option. In addition to accommodation in Munich itself, it is also worth looking at the surrounding areas. The exclusive DB Event Ticket offers a 15% discount on long-distance train journeys throughout Germany. Besides that, the festival ticket also includes travel to and from the event by public transport, making the journey to the car-free festival both environmentally friendly and convenient.

For the ‘‘Experience Days‘‘, Next Gen Tickets for people between 16 – 17 are available alongside regular tickets. Those looking for a little more comfort can choose the Comfort Ticket, which includes a range of benefits such as shorter waiting times, access to special areas with phone-charging facilities, as well as an exclusive cloakroom and food area. Prices for Saturday are €49/99/129 respectively, while Sunday tickets vary between €59 – 144. Those who would like to get especially close to their favourite artists can add Silver Circle access for an additional €39. For anyone looking to make the search for accommodation a little easier, the hotel package is a convenient option, with prices starting at €199. Tickets for the concert evenings range from €75 to €99. Front of Stage access can also be added for €30.
