All About: TW Classic 2025

After a break in 2024, TW Classic is back with a fully sold-out edition! On June 28th, the festival grounds in Torhout-Werchter, known for one of Belgium’s most anticipated festivals, Rock Werchter, will host another event. TW Classic is a one-day festival that represents what Rock Werchter used to be: one day, one stage, and a select yet exciting line-up.

The festival found its origin in 2002, when the line-up included the Belgian duo Clouseau and Bryan Adams. Since then, the festival has hosted artists like Alicia Keys, Lenny Kravitz, Elton John and Bon Jovi.

This year’s edition will be kicked off by Portland, a Belgian band led by singer Jente Pironet, whose dream-pop music is described as “known for its melancholic beauty, immersive soundscapes and raw emotions”. They are followed by The Lottery Winners, an indie pop band from England. Despite being formed in 2008, they have only performed in Belgium once, in 2023.

Indie pop is then swapped for alternative rock when Skunk Anansie takes the stage. They’re a British band known for powerful sound, political lyrics and dynamic performances. Throughout their discography they have addressed racism, sexism, homophobia, and more. Next up is Texas, a Scottish band that brings its pop/alternative rock songs to TW Classic for the third time, after a 10-year gap.

Another artist that is no stranger to TW Classic is Bryan Adams. After being one of the artists during the first edition of the festival, he has frequented both Rock Werchter and TW Classic, with eight overall performances in Belgium since 1988. The Canadian singer-songwriter, known for his hits like ‘Summer of 69’ and ‘Heaven’, will no doubt be welcomed back with open arms as one of this year’s headliners.

The final star of the night will be Robbie Williams. With a set lasting one hour and 40 minutes, he’ll be able to perform a wide range of songs from all throughout his career. Known for his energetic stage presence and charismatic performances, Williams has been a frequent visitor to Belgium’s stages, including multiple appearances at Rock Werchter and TW Classic. His ability to connect with audiences across generations ensures that the festival will close on an unforgettable high note, delivering classics as well as newer hits.

Those who were lucky enough to get their hands on a ticket are in for a night of energetic performances, great vibes, and hopefully, plenty of sunshine to complete the perfect festival experience.
