Live Review: Infinity Song in Amsterdam

On Wednesday evening in Amsterdam, a small crowd formed as the doors to the venue opened. With a capacity of 550 people, the sold-out Club room at Paradiso was filled to the brim with fans anticipating an evening with Infinity Song.

Opening the evening is Oscar Stembridge. At just 17 years old, the artist from Malmö showed off serious stage presence and charm. A former America’s Got Talent quarterfinalist, he delivered an energetic and emotional set that had the crowd clapping, cheering, and even lighting up the venue with their phone flashlights.

One of the standout moments came after ‘Hold Me Till It’s Over’, when he noticed fans up on the balcony and gave them a shoutout. For ‘What If’, he got the whole crowd to turn on their flashlights, creating a beautiful glowing atmosphere. Between songs, he kept things light and fun, teaching the crowd how to say “cheers” in Swedish during a quick water break, laughing off an awkward moment when no one responded to his “situationship” question, and even dedicating “Idiot” to the airport worker who broke his electric guitar.

He had everyone clapping along to feel-good tunes like ‘See You in the Summer’ and kept that energy going through to the final song. With his EP How Did We End Up Here dropping August 29, Oscar is clearly a rising star and a great opener worth keeping an eye on.

Moving on to the main act of the evening, Infinity Song, the four-sibling soft rock band from New York City, brought something truly special to the stage that night. Their performance was more than just a concert: it was an experience filled with warmth, energy, and genuine connection. The siblings’ tight harmonies and easy charm made the audience feel like they were part of a close-knit family gathering, rather than just spectators at a show.

The band’s journey began back in 2010, and it’s clear that their years of playing together have only strengthened their bond. Their father kicked off the night with a heartfelt introduction, setting the tone for an evening filled with meaning and shared stories. From the very first song, ‘Lotus’, you could feel the chemistry between Abraham, Momo, Angel, and Israel, as they effortlessly moved through their set. During ‘Lotus’, each sibling introduced themselves, creating a friendly, welcoming atmosphere that made the crowd feel like old friends.

One unforgettable highlight was their beautiful rendition of Fleetwood Mac’s classic ‘Dreams’. The crowd swayed together, soaking in every note and harmony, completely captivated by the band’s soulful performance. But the night wasn’t just about quiet moments, as the siblings also kept the energy high and playful. During a spontaneous photo break, they gathered the crowd for a group picture using a fan’s disposable camera, adding a nostalgic touch. Then Momo chimed in wanting one on her iPhone too.

When they played ‘Pink Sky’, the audience sang along, and the band took full advantage of the instrumental break by breaking out into a dance, clearly enjoying the moment as much as their fans. Their infectious energy sparked a dance-off with the siblings encouraging people to join in. During the upbeat ‘Haters Anthem’, they even invited some of their fans on stage. At one point, Abraham and Israel jumped into the crowd to dance alongside fans too, showing just how down-to-earth and approachable they are.

The more introspective ‘Metamorphosis’ brought a thoughtful shift to the set. Described by the band as “not a dance song, more like an emo vibe”, it was dedicated to anyone going through the difficult process of growing up and figuring out life’s challenges. The band also gave a heartfelt shoutout to their dad, reminding everyone of the love and support that had helped them reach this point.

As the night wound down, the band engaged in a playful mini Q&A during the encore. Fans asked if Israel was single (which got a big laugh), and they also learned the story behind the name Infinity Song. Abraham took a moment to remind fans about their merch and meet & greet after the show, making sure everyone knew how to stay connected. The night ended on a high note with the debut of their new single ‘London Foxes’, which is set to release this Friday, leaving the audience excited for what’s next from this talented sibling group.
