While the 2024 edition of the festival hasn’t even started yet, the organisation already announced the first names for next year. It will be 20 years since the first edition of Reload Festival, so they are planning to celebrate it big.
Usually, for the first day of the festival, they only open up a part of the festival grounds, with only one stage. Next year, they are doing three full festival days, with the main stage opened up from day one. The organisation did not just announce one or two names; they came in big with 22 confirmed bands!
One of the headliners is Machine Head, who will be making their Reload debut. This is an extra special one, since it’s been many years since the band was last seen on a festival line-up. Furthermore, after playing in the Olympic opening ceremony in Paris a few weeks ago, Gojira is another one of the headliners for next year. Last but definitely not least, I Prevail is the third headliner for next year. The American band has been growing like crazy, combining their catchy sing-along choruses with heavy riffs and breakdowns.
While the headliners are definitely something that needs to be spoken about, alongside them are 19 more confirmed bands that deserve your attention. Names like Donots, August Burns Red, and Fit For A King are all ready to mosh you out of your shoes next year.
