The title ‘Aperture’ raises questions about its meaning. Cambridge dictionary defines it as “an opening or hole through which light passes”. That’s exactly what the song does: it builds up over time, like a hole through which light passes.
The song feels calm, reflective, and powerful all at once. Instead of going for an instant pop hit, the song takes its time to build a mood. The sound leans more toward electronic and dance-influenced pop, but it stays soft and controlled rather than loud or flashy. It’s a track that pulls you in slowly and works best when you let it play without distractions.
Synthesizers and a steady electronic beat lead the production. This creates a spacious feeling, while the bass keeps the song moving at a relaxed pace.
