The song has a dreamy, almost entrancing vibe. The artist’s voice perfectly matches the instrumental, producing a harmonic result.
‘Senseless’ is characterised by instrumental parts, both in the beginning and within the song. India Arkin’s vocals start off rather calmly, but one should not expect the entire song to be like that. Especially the guitar solo towards the end of the song contributes to a louder, rock-like vibe to the song.
Clear and smooth vocals might seem like a contradiction here, yet the combination works perfectly, feeling like each part of the song balances another one out.
Quiet parts are directly followed up by louder ones, making it feel like India Arkin is taking her listeners on a musical journey in four minutes.

India Arkin previously advertised this song as her biggest release to date and she certainly did not disappoint; the track is thought-through from beginning to end. ‘Senseless’ is the perfect song for warm summer nights and certainly worth a listen for all indie rock fans.
