Rising alt-pop sensation Chloe Star released her single ‘Stand The Silence’ on November 15th. Following her debut EP the bed i lie in, Chloe embraces her more delicate and introspective side with this single.
‘Stand The Silence’ articulates the different emotions that come with an artist’s career: the exhilarating rush of touring and performing sets against the quiet loneliness that creeps in when the lights go out. Chloe uses raw and vulnerable lyrics combined with a heart-wrenching melody to picture an intimate portrait of her inner battles. An emotional ballad paired with an alt-rock voice creates an original listening experience that leaves the listener hooked as well as brings across calming sounds. Understanding an artist’s struggles is difficult as listeners only, but Chloe has done an excellent job in guiding us through her feelings.
Chloe Star is a rising pop singer known for catchy melodies, a vibrant style and genre-blending sounds that include pop, rock and alternative music. Being an Indigenous singer, she often incorporates themes of empowerment and self-expression in her music. Chloe’s music showcases her powerful vocals as well as versatile rhythms.
